We are pleased to announce an exciting development.

mLearn2008 and Handheld Learning 2008 are offering the opportunity for delegates to attend two back-to-back world-class conferences. This has been designed by the relevant conference committees from the outset. The technology will allow the 'handover' of all delegates' blogs and will use similar technology at both conferences.  If you book to attend mLearn 2008, you will be eligible for a 10% discount when booking to attend Handheld Learning.

  • mLearn2008, Ironbridge:

Tues 7th (pre-conf. Workshops)

Wed 8th to Fri 10th October (mid-afternoon finish)

You may now register for the conference using our Secure Server.  There are a limited number of tickets for our Complimentary Conference Reception at Madeley Court.  Click Here to register for the conference, and to take advantage of this offer.

  • Handheld Learning, London:

The Handheld Learning Conference falls just after mLearn and is the international signature event for learning using mobile and ubiquitous technologies.

This year lead speakers include:

Now in its fourth year the event has become the largest of its kind bringing together the worlds leading opinion formers, thought leaders, practitioners, education leaders, developers, policy and decision makers to demonstrate, debate and explore how these technologies can be employed to enable transformational improvements in learning.

This year's overarching theme is"Innovation in Learning and Teaching Practice". The event will examine the convergence between consumer electronics, entertainment software, educational technology and learning.

The event will stage an excellent mix of inspirational presentations from leading thinkers and practitioners, lively interactive debates, learners and practitioners showcases, special interest breakouts, networking and social sessions, plus an exhibition featuring the principle industry leaders.

Delegates will leave the conference with a clear understanding of how to positively embrace current and emerging mobile and ubiquitous technologies within their strategies for teaching and learning.

All delegates registering by July 31st will receive a free Nintendo DS handheld with software title for use during the conference (and to keep afterwards!).
